Bringing heritage alive through stakeholder events
Cecoforma has won the opportunity from the Commission's Directorate General for Education and Culture (DG EAC) to organise two major events on cultural heritage. In 2019 those were Cultural Heritage Global Problem-Solving Platforms (1 April 2019, Dublin) and Platforms on the Future of Cultural Heritage (7-8 October 2019, Prague). These events were the succession of the European Year of Cultural Heritage (EYCH 2018) and we built on the momentum by organising the conferences in culturally rich venues in incredible cities.
Our dedicated project managers created and managed the registration platform, organised the production of badges and coordinated participants’ travel and accommodation, among many other integral pre-event tasks.
On the spot, we made sure the venues were decorated to impress and the AV equipment was ready to go. In terms of communication materials, we provided the programme and visuals like the roll-ups and photowall. Lastly, we helped showcase European cultural heritage with decadent catering.
This event welcomed over 100 participants; all stakeholders of cultural heritage. Special guests included Tibor Navracsics - Commissioner for Education, Culture, Youth and Sport and Professor Pier Luigi Sacco (IULM University, Milan, Italy). This was the last event for the Commissioner Navracsics, and we hoped to make it an unforgettable one for him and all the participants by polishing every last detail we could.
